New analysis instruments shown at IRTA

On February 18 NTSensors a commercial technical visit to the Research Center #IRTA (Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology) of Amposta.

This session was raised by the interest of various scientific groups to know the innovative instrument #imacimus – multiparameter ion analyzer.

The groups present were Group of sustainable extensive crops, Group of marine and inland waters and the aquaculture group.

In situ measurements of water table samples, marine water for crops, and the versatility of a device that allows multiparameter measurement for a wide range of samples were carried out.

The #imacimus equipment is already being used in different research institutes related to the ability to obtain multi-parameter analysis simultaneously, with great precision, at an affordable investment.

The Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (in Catalan: Institut de Recerca i Tecnologia Agroalimentàries, IRTA), attached to the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, Food and Natural Environment. The purpose of IRTA is to contribute to the modernization, improvement and promotion of competitiveness, the sustainable development of the agricultural, food, agroforestry, aquaculture and fisheries sectors, and also those directly and indirectly related to the supply of healthy food and quality to final consumers; to food security and the transformation of food and, in general, to the improvement of the well-being and health of the population.
